Bird Spikes for the Prevention of Pigeons & Seagulls (Exc Kittiwakes)

Bird Spikes for the Prevention of Pigeons & Seagulls (Exc Kittiwakes)

With the advent of new materials there are now many different solutions to prevent roosting birds with the use of spiking systems. It is important to consider the individual circumstances before choosing a system and its fixing method.

Once installed spikes are extremely hard to spot and will last for several years before replacement is required. All spikes are installed with the correct silicone adhesive - Avipoint P14, P20, P32 are installed with Network Silicone Adhesive and Pigeonproof Plastic Spikes with David Jones & Son Silicone. In damp scenarios we replace silicone with Avifix a stronger (hard like nails style) silicone.

Systems available for installation including Stainless Steel, Galvanized, Aluminum, Copper or Plastic.

We are also able to obtain several colours of spikes including red, black, brown and green for numerous different scenarios - however the majority of these spikes are on a made to order basis so hence advanced ordering is required.
