The below photos are examples of sparrow netting (19mm) installed under the canopy of a football stadium in Crawley, West Sussex which had been plagued with high infestations of starlings and a mix of sparrows and pigeons. This was an extremely hard net to install due to the access (via a lorry mounted platform) and the many obstacles that had to be avoided to allow the canopy to be proofed against all three birds (Sparrows, Starlings, Pigeons) these included the speakers, lighting and multi angle purling's.

Access as mentioned was via a lorry mounted platform (GSR 18) parked on the edge of the football field to allow our operators to gain the reach required to install the netting. The process of installing the net as follows: 1. Installation of the girder clips, angle brackets, dxa41 a/b, screw eyes 2. installation and tensioning of the galvanised wiring system and aluminum ferrules to sturdy M5 / M6 barrel strainers (turnbuckles) 3. 19mm netting was installed using galvanised hogrings (C rings) 4. all net edges trimmed for presentation reasons 5. work area cleared for customer presentation 6. one extremely happy customer!

The below photo shows you one of the main factors that made this net complicated to install - the air conditioners - as regular service was required on these machines the sparrow net would have to be installed above the air conditioning machines to allow for access for maintenance ladders etc.
