Seagull Proofing, Brighton City Center, East Sussex
The below photos show 2 semi-large roof nets raised with intermediate non-piercing net brackets on a central building within Brighton city center to prevent seagulls (particularly Herring & Common gull) from landing and and eventually nesting (a past problem over the years). Marine grade Stainless Steel parts were used for construction of the net system with the exception of the galvanised roof brackets which were hot dipped and then insulated with black tape to prevent corrosion of the two metals. Stainless Steel G20 (marine grade) Avipoint spikes were used around all parapets to prevent gulls from gaining access by ripping the net. Both nets were raised above all three skylights to abide by council regulations.
The above is only one example of our workmanship, please do not hesitate to contact us for further examples of our work. A .PDF catalogue of our work is available on request via our contacts page.
